Mai Miturich

Mai Miturich-Khlebnikov is a Russian graphic artist, painter, watercolorist, lithographer, book illustrator, son of the graphic artist Petr Miturich and Vera Khlebnikova (sister of futurist poet Velimir Khlebnikov). He was nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Award for Illustration in 1990.

  1. Hi Svetlana, a beautiful name. I love the 'Swan Sorrow' illustration and also the 'Fly Tsokutuha' reminds me of 'Peter and the Wolf' and 'Anansi/Arachne' myth respectivly. Lovely to see a new post. My turn to catch up now. I plan to do a post about 'The Red Shoes'. I wonder if I like red shoes because my name is karen or if my name is karen because I like red shoes. What do you think? Love Karenxxxxxx
