Little books for little readers

It is just a small part of my library. Little books that measures 10 by 13 cm (4 x 5,2 inches). The series is named "For the little" and designed for children from two to five years old. These books from 60-80s were published in Russia, Moscow by the "Detskaya literatura" publishing house. Some books were reprinted several times and it is not a problem to find them in old book shops.

But I have also some specific books that are almost impossible to find. The edition of half a million for former Soviet Union was as a drop in the sea. These little books were incredibly cheap and people are not especially took care of them. And the little readers used to draw in the books and can also break them. So some books are very rare now and to find them are possible only accidentally.

Books from the collection can be lent for temporary public exhibitions in libraries, schools and other places. You may discuss the possibility of borrowing with an owner.
